For the third consecutive season, Tara Gray Jewelry has partnered with the Santa Barbara Polo Club to present the Pacific Coast Open (PCO) championship ring—the only ring of its kind in the history of polo.

The design of the ring takes inspiration from the legendary PCO trophy, which was commissioned in 1908 and features glittering polo scenes, ornate leaf work and an eagle supporting a globe. Tara’s design of the champion ring is an homage to the trophy and is elevated by the addition of 14 Karat gold and a plethora of diamonds. In 2018, she added 108 black and white diamonds to signify the 108th anniversary of the polo club and she continues to add commemorative gemstones each year.

“Taking up the sport is one of the best things I have ever done. I have always been an athlete and polo has presented me a great new challenge. Learning to play gives me new respect for the level of talent and horsemanship that we are lucky to experience each polo season.”
